Band and strip heaters

Merkur manufactures band and strip heaters used for contact heating of cylindrical metal parts and molds in the plastic and rubber industry. Furthermore, these heaters can be used for indirect heating of fluids, through heating the reservoirs or the pipes where these fluids are.
We manufacture these heaters in two ways, one of which consists in running a wire through a mica plate and insulating it between two other mica plates and the other being the insertion of the wire into ceramic structure. Both of these types are then protected by a stainless steel sheet with high heat resistance.
We offer not only solutions for the most well-known manufacturers of such appliances, but also solutions for new manufacturers. We give advice on how to reach an optimal heating solution for the medium and operating temperature of your appliances.
