A success story

Merkur, with a tradition of more than 35 years, is identified as a manufacturer of heating elements that offers quality, safety and correctness. A small workshop in the city of Presevo with alternative equipment and a small production capacity were the first steps of our company. After the end of the war in Kosovo, based on a clear vision for the creation of a contemporary product with professionalism and European standards, the company moved to Pristina in a modern factory with the highest quality European equipment. Merkur possesses a new technology, with production machines originating from Sweden and Germany, more precisely from Kanthal and FK Industrieofenbau. Moreover, the raw material is provided by the most serious European companies through authorized distributors for the Balkan region.

One of the core values that Merkur proclaims is quality. For this reason during the manufacturing process, special importance is given to a rigorous process of electrical and physical testing. Moreover, since 2013, Merkur holds the German VDE quality certificate for the production of water heating elements.

Another value that Merkur prides itself on is agility. Through an intensive and open communication with customers, we quickly understand the problem, design a practical solution and deliver the final product, a process which is very fast and cost-optimal for the customer.

To conclude, Merkur aims at customer satisfaction, therefore when our customers need heating solutions that exceed our standard production and can not find satisfactory answers in the market, we are happy to offer them creative solutions specific to their applications. For this reason in recent years we have started producing aluminum smelting furnaces, furnaces used in dentistry and furnaces for the HoReCa industry, which are built and fully functionalized by our staff.
